We encourage you to read our community agreement, a living document that we edit as we adapt and grow as a community. We will read this together at the top of the session, and we ask all participants to read and have an understanding of this document. In session, we encourage community members to work with us to nurture this agreement so that is can be representative of all of past, present, and future participants.

Care at SotA

At SotA, everyone participates in collective care. Whether through work service, listening, adapting when needed, or knowing when to take some space, or helping someone find the thing someone lost (it’s me, I lost the thing) - we are all part of the ecosystem of care at SotA.

In session, the SotA care team works to help facilitate our community feeling safe and supported in the ways that we are able. We manage the nuts and bolts operations and information sharing to make sure the session runs smoothly, and we also provide emotional and logistical support to help the community work through problems and questions.

A member of the care team will hold daily open hours from 11-11:45 each day, in our rooms. This will be for anyone who has questions or thoughts that would benefit from 1 on 1 convo. Several Advisory Committee members will also be available for fielding your questions and support, to ensure that folks have a range of folks to go to to seek support or clarity.

We will also have on-site Mental Health Support staff member who will be here to support you if things come up that could benefit from the light of a professional therapist’s care and attention.
