School In mid-2012, Chelsea Ragan & Adam Void moved to Black Mountain, NC to pursue the visual arts in the birthplace of the American Avant Garde. After having a visionary encounter with the extremely rare black lion, Chelsea had the divine inspiration to start a new school, inspired by Black Mountain College, on the site of the old.

 

In October of 2015 Eighteen artists, writers, creatives, and educators from across the United States gathered at the former site of BMC's Lake Eden Campus to build the foundation for a new school. Together, they constructed the framework for the first session and the structure for it's future.
